Drom Aluinn (meaning beautiful mountain) is a fabulous warm and welcoming boutique B&B offering a perfect night away or ideal weekender with a home cooked breakfast (homemade jams, amazing tea selection and coffee machine plus real milk) and lots of little treats and luxuries included throughout your stay, including free Netflix and Wi-Fi. The accommodation is classy with a shared guest lounge that extends to wrap around deck and covered alfresco, with exhilarating views from every bedroom and living area. The hosts, Sue and Pete, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, comfortable and promote calm and balance. It’s just a short 10 minute drive to the Cathedral Ranges and a fabulous restaurant called Hoovas in Alexandra. It is exceptionally well priced and the perfect escape with a difference. You will not be disappointed!

Wonderful friendly hosts, beautiful house and the best bed that I have ever slept in. Had a lovely dinner and huge breakfast. Loved the views from our bedroom looking over the Cathedral Ranges. Would definitely stay there again.

Sue and Peter were fantastic hosts. Set in a beautiful location the views, room, food, company and friendly border collies made for a fantastic stay.

The first thing you notice when you arrive is the jaw dropping view. Followed closely by some of the friendliest and curious puppy dogs coming to say hello. Both Sue and Pete were very friendly and accommodating for any of your needs. The peace and tranquility of the property are intoxicating, making relaxation effortless. The home grown produce made for an amazing dinner and breakfast. Would not hesitate to book again and highly recommend Drom Aluinn to anyone looking for time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. 10 out of 10.

We loved our one-night stay at Drom Aluinn. The place is extremely peaceful and Sue & Pete are very attentive hosts. This is a perfect accommodation for a romantic week end or for a couple with children who will love playing with the dogs! 🙂

Had a wonderful weekend away. The room and rest area are amazing, the pictures don’t do it justice. Lovely views but more importantly look out for that bacon in the morning for breakfast, was amazing !!. Rosemary was very cute as well
